So you’re ready to ditch your breast forms and get some womanly curves of your own? How exciting!
Herbs and hormones are the two most popular options for male to female breast enhancement. Both methods work, but there are pros and cons to each approach.
Here are some things to think about:
Herbs
Certain herbs contain chemicals (known as phytoestrogens) that mimic the effects of estrogen. These herbs can be used to stimulate breast growth in biological males.
Many people choose to use herbs as a natural alternative to synthetic hormones.
Phytoestrogenic herbs such as fenugreek, wild yam, fennel, red clover, and pueraria mirifica have been safely used for hundreds of years.
Herbs aren’t as powerful as hormones, so they shouldn’t be considered a replacement for transgender HRT (hormone replacement therapy).
However, their effects on the breasts can be dramatic. (Check out some of the results our members have experienced here.)
Hormones
Pharmaceutical hormones are much more potent than herbs and are the best choice for transgender women planning a full transition.
If hormones are started early enough, a transgender woman can totally avoid masculine development during puberty.
Beside breast enlargement, hormones lead to:
- Redistribution of body fat
- Thinner body hair
- Thickening of hair on the head
- Softer skin
- Reduced muscle development
- Changes in body odor and sweat production
- Decreased penis size
- Psychological changes.
The downside of hormones is that they are associated with certain health risks and therefore must be administered by a doctor. (Self-prescribed hormones are very dangerous; please don’t do this.)
Some of the health risks of transgender HRT include:
- Nausea and vomiting
- Mood swings
- Depression
- Weight gain
- Hypothyroidism
- Risk of blood clots/deep vein thrombosis (DVT)
- Increased potential for gall bladder disease
- Increased potential for liver/breast cancer
So which breast enhancement method is best for YOU? It all depends on your goals and where you fall in the feminine spectrum.
Transgender women who are planning a full transition should seek traditional hormone therapy under a doctor’s care.
Herbs are an appropriate alternative for those who are not planning a full transition or who don’t want to use synthetic hormones.
Have you tried either of these options? Please let us know in the poll below.
P.S. If you want to learn how to put together a safe and effective breast enhancement routine, The Flat to Femme Program can help.
It took most of my life to come out with my feminine side. It cost me my marriage, oldest daughter wont speak to me, ect.
I went to planned parenthood in Fresno Ca. as they have a department for transgender, and will prescribe the needed hormones as long as they consult you first, and check your blood work. I was prescribed spironolactone right away at 50mg a day, and then bumped up to 100mg. Bottom line is I’ve been on it for about 6 months now and my breast are sore when I push in at the nipple area. It is almost as if they are saying we’re ready, where’s the estrogen?
Here is the rub. My cholesterol will not cooperate and they won’t give me Estrogen. I came across this website and am thinking of getting the book, but I want to be sure that Lucille covers how to do her program for me who is already on a pharmaceutical anti androgen (spironolactone ).
Is it as simple as not using the saw palmetto, or is it more complicated then that? I hope she sees this post so I can get my answer from the source.
Thanks,
Emily

Now 2014, I’ve completed 5 full years of developing my own breasts, and as I’ve shared before with Lucille, her staff, and this blog, it’s amazing there’s a natural way to finally enjoy feeling this truly feminine sensation. After decades of stuffing my bras so many different ways, there is nothing like filling out the cups entirely with my own bouncy, rounded, breast tissue.
I started in January 2009. 6’2″ 184lbs, 37-33-35. 37″ with tape measure over my nipples, 36″ just under where my bra band rested (just barely a 1″ difference = A cup).
I committed to eating healthier and running 2 miles five times a week, walking 5 miles the other 2 days.
Four 1000mg fenugreek capsules per day with meals, and made a 4 parts Oil of Olay + 1 part fenugreek liquid extract mixture, massaged into my breasts every morning 5 minutes on each side, right after hot shower, the same massage at night followed right away with using a maternity nursing breast pump for 5-10 minutes on each side before bed (I believe the stretching-pulling motion really gets the extract into the deep tissue).
Today as I type this, I’m still 6’2″ but weigh 171lbs and I measure 40-30-36. I’m now 40″ across my nipples, 35.5 just at bra band (noticeable 4.5″ difference that overflows a B cup, and is a very nice C cup).
I can now wear different bras depending how I want to look and feel. Today, I’m in a very basic, everyday 38C molded cups, super comfortable black stretch lace bra band and 3 hooks.
I have a 38C demi-cut stiff molded cups with lots of embossed lace overlays, super comfy ivory stretch lace bra band, 3 hooks with satin ribbon straps.
I have a basic white 36B push-up padded bra that squeezes everything in to the middle very tight, creates deep cleavage, powder blue, molded cups, 2 hooks in back.
I have a very pretty nude-peach tone soft cup 36B very lacy front closure with wide 4″ bra band and stretchy straps. It is so fun to completely fill out a soft-cup bra’s cups above the rounded underwire.
Finally, I have a 38B light pink stretch-satin job bra with molded cups, 5″ bra band all around (no hooks, it stretches overhead to put it on) and 1″ wide stretch-padded shoulder straps for when I workout.
I also have a VF nylon full slip that works great over all bras. Also have a Lily stretch nylon full flip that has more defined cups – very fun to wear without a bra, same fit as 36B soft-cup bra. Love the feel of completely filling out this slip with no bra, especially under a very light rayon-crepe blouse or dress.
Growing my hair out for 4 1/2 years has really helped me feel like a real woman (no more wigs), but NOTHING compares to having my own breasts. If I was 5’8″ I would be 100% passable. At 6’2″ I’m told I’m 90% passable, still get extra looks just due to my height (but still glad I’m not 6’5″ or taller). So I try to stay thin-athletic and wear VERY average everyday skirts, tops, thigh highs, flats, sweaters, scarfs, shoulder bag, and keep my hair i simple bangs and I do very well out in public.
Lucille has been the real deal!
Well to goes. Started the program today, can’t wait to see what happens. Starting at 44B.
Ronnie, you won’t regret it.
My regimen consists of Nature’s Day fenugreek (585gx2x2), Nature’s Day saw palmetto (610gx2x2), pueraria mirifica powder (1/2 tspx1x2), and Jason wild yam cream laced with pueraria mirifica. I started this regimen in February 2013.
My results have been so good. I started with 41” bandwidth and 42” breast. As of this post, I am now a 41” bandwidth and 45” breast. That’s a 42C bra size! I do cardio and ab work at the gym, probably 3 times per week.
My breasts now stick out. I can’t hide them as they are too big to hide, and when I look down, there they are! My nipples have grown and I like to try to keep them aroused for blood flow for the cream. I try to message once per day (400 strokes), but even when I miss the message, I like to just put the cream on to sink into my breasts.
I don’t think my breasts have stopped growing. They are very pretty and just keep getting bigger. I hope next year I will have 41”/46” and a D cup!
It did not take a year to get to 41-46. I’m there right now! I have a D cup! I’m so happy!
I’m hoping to get more volume now so I try to give a really good massage everyday, but it works out to like every other day most of the time. As it is, it’s getting hard to hide my breasts under my shirts.
If I grow more or really fill out, I’ll post then.
Hi, I am 56 years old. And
I have been on Pueraria Mirifica for 12 months also using the breast cream for about 6 months. Also each morning and night have kept a massage routine. I have found that the Pueraria Mirifica cream really helps with massage as it helps your hands slide over your breasts smoother, I think the most important thing for breast development is the massage. The cream also has some benifts in the bust and the caps help with body transformation. I have gone from 39 inches around the bust to 43″ give and take a bit, form a AA cup to a B almost a C cup my skin is a lot softer and my overall figure has improved although I still have a long way to go in achieving my ideal body weight. Overall, Two tabs per day, massage twice a day (EVERYDAY) with PM cream for up to a hour each session. I was taking Saw Palmetto for about a month but for the last 11 months have not taken anything else but PM, I have now just started back on the saw to try and lower testosterone and help me with my body figure. I’ll post again in about 6 months for a update.
